[2024/02/08 15:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Since you just rubbed out one of their monsters, yes, they probably do!
[2024/02/08 15:42] Alicia Frakture: Skamos thinks for a moment. "Considering these monsters not entirely sure the top siders have a grip on this." She pauses as she realizes something."Those bodies need to be burned."If they are infected like that other priestess we are going to have problems

[2024/02/08 15:43] Alicia Frakture: You weren't told?
[2024/02/08 15:44] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "You think these many legged things are laying eggs?"

[2024/02/08 15:45] Alicia Frakture: And one of those things popped out of the chest of a priestess. I don't know the incubation rules so if we cook them now, there is little to no chance of more little buggers popping out

For one, escape options are limited, for two, fires can consume a vast amount of breathable air, leaving poisonous fumes behind. Don't underestimate the danger of fire underground... there's a general consensus of "no fires". A bit like "no biological weapons" today in real.)

[2024/02/08 15:52] Alicia Frakture: Not many, if it is remembered correctly she did grab a few empties but she also has a few oil bottles that can be emptied.

[2024/02/08 15:53] Alicia Frakture: gonna dump 2 and fill them as well to try and get 4

[2024/02/08 15:55] Alicia Frakture: takes the six and begins going from corpse to corpse pouring acid so it eats through their chest and any alien things that might be in there

[2024/02/08 15:57] Alicia Frakture: Skamos is not stopping she sees the need to keep more of those things out priority
[2024/02/08 15:58] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Attilla moves to haul Skamos out of the line of arrow fire.
[2024/02/08 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: On the plus side, you've used five bottles of acid blood, and now have ten badly burnt bodies.
[2024/02/08 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: The priestess sees Attilla hauling Skamos back and she shouts to the drow: "Archers! Targets on the wall!"

[2024/02/08 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: four drow firing 8 arrows, I'd say roughly half will hit. That's the two downed; you hear a voice shouting "Damnit! Stay down! You! Go get another drone - no, fuckit, get a bunch of drones!" You hear some loud chanting as well.

[2024/02/08 16:04] Alicia Frakture: Skamos looks at Atilla."Get everyone out of here. I'll be right behind
[2024/02/08 16:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: The chanting stops, and you hear a familiar voice shouting. "Drow! Let's talk terms, no need for anyone else to die!"
[2024/02/08 16:05] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "You better not sacrifice yourself for this..." Atilla says with suspicion
[2024/02/08 16:06] Alicia Frakture: You kidding. Can't make things blow up if I'm dead."She whispers.

[2024/02/08 16:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: who are you asking?
[2024/02/08 16:08] Alicia Frakture: *Before answering that, who said let's talk terms?*
[2024/02/08 16:08] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Priestess, who shall represent you at their parley request?" He asks, unsure if she plans to go with it honestly.

[2024/02/08 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: The priestess looks concerned, what should've been a simple task has seemingly grown big, much bigger than can be handled. "You seem to know these surfacers best," she says.
[2024/02/08 16:10] Alicia Frakture: *She was responding to that. I was gonna say if the priestess said it Skamos would have felt silly.*
[2024/02/08 16:14] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: He frowns, afraid she was going to say that. "Understood, priestess." He salutes, and then turns to head out on his own, prepared to shout back. "We are prepared to hear your surrender terms, surfacers. What shall you offer?"
[2024/02/08 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: A pause, and a muffled exchange. Then a shout: "What's it going to take for you to go away?"
[2024/02/08 16:19] Alicia Frakture: Skamos thinks about that.
[2024/02/08 16:19] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: He crosses his arms, considering his options. The honest answer is of course that the Drow consider this terretory to be theirs in the first place (like the terretory of all neighbors) , but even he can guess that they are disinterested in bowing over that far backwards. "For now? The revelation of what monsters you have brought with you, and the return of any drow females you have captured or killed."
[2024/02/08 16:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: A pause. "Yeah... they're our secret weapon. Beauties, aren't they...? We got lots of them. Go now, any you go with your lives! We have no drow here, female or otherwise."
[2024/02/08 16:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "That's hardly a revelation! We demand details. How they breed, what commands them."
[2024/02/08 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Creatures from far away! They breed inside living hosts. That's about all I'll say... you've seen how many slaves we've been taking, you do the math!"
[2024/02/08 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Priestess, in a quiet hiss. "They could have an army in there!"
[2024/02/08 16:25] Alicia Frakture: Skamos whispers."They probably do have one and they don't even know it. This is beyond my level of crazy, this threatens all of the underdark."
[2024/02/08 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: (This sounds quite likely, you can't think offhand of any creature like this, even without the "breed inside living hosts" comment)

[2024/02/08 16:33] Alicia Frakture: Skamos looks at the others and motions Atilla over."If we go we need to be prepared." She whispers.
[2024/02/08 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: Priestess: "We can't just go!"
[2024/02/08 16:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ( All the surfacers who left the gates are already dead, yes?
[2024/02/08 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: all the figures who came out are definitely dead, not all are surfacers
[2024/02/08 16:35] Alicia Frakture: I know but..." Skamos begins writing down what she saw through her familiar and what was said."Send a soldier with this to the high priestess while we stay here." Before she speaks up."Before we answer, what do you call those things?"
[2024/02/08 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: "How about your death? Four of them are coming out now, you can ask them what they prefer to be called!"
[2024/02/08 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: and... BONG... calling cliffhanger before it gets later
